Last Roar ("the game") is a single-player mobile game published by Meir Studios ("we"). This policy explains what information the game handles and who receives it. The short version: we do not run our own servers, we do not create accounts, and we never see your name or email. The only data that leaves your device goes to the Google services listed below, under their own policies.
To balance the game we record anonymous gameplay events: which level was played and whether it was won, the gear equipped, which power-ups were offered and picked, resources collected, whether an optional ad was watched, and how long a session lasted. These are tagged with a random install identifier generated by the game — not your name, email, account, device ID, advertising ID or location — and sent to a database we operate on Google Cloud (Firestore) under the Google Privacy Policy. The identifier cannot be linked back to you by us or by Google. You can turn this off at any time in Settings → SHARE PLAY STATS; nothing is recorded while it is off. Reinstalling the game generates a new identifier.
The game offers sign-in with Google Play Games to enable cloud save and leaderboards. If you decline, everything works offline except those features. When you sign in, Google provides the game with your Play Games player ID and display name (never your email). Your save file and best scores are stored in Google's Play Games servers under your Google account. This is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You can remove the game's data at any time from the Google Play Games app → Settings → "Delete Play Games account & data" for this game.
The game shows optional rewarded video ads served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from it, and device/app information. You can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of personalised ads in your device's Google settings (Settings → Google → Ads). AdMob's data use is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. Where required by law (EU/UK/Switzerland), the game shows a consent form before any ad is requested.
Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play. We never receive your payment details. Google shares only an anonymous purchase token so the game can grant what you bought.
On launch the game downloads a small public settings file (game balance numbers and the minimum supported version) from our hosting. This request carries no identifier beyond your IP address, which our host (Firebase Hosting) may log for security and abuse prevention.
The game is not directed at children under 13, and ads are configured as not child-directed. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because we hold no personal data ourselves, requests about Play Games data or advertising data should go to Google via the links above. For anything about this policy, email us and we will answer within 30 days.
If this policy changes we will update this page and the effective date above.
